About
I am a DHA-licensed clinical psychologist in Dubai, and I built this course out of the way I actually work: cognitive behavioural therapy alongside integrative approaches to sleep, routine and the body. The idea behind it is simple. Anxiety makes more sense once you understand what your own physiology is doing, and it is easier to work with when the steps come in a sensible order. That is what this course gives you: the foundations, in the order I would teach them in a room. Over fifteen years in private practice I have worked with hundreds of people from many different backgrounds, and the same gaps came up again and again. Anxiety 101 is built around those gaps. What you cover: how anxiety works in the body, and what to do with that; the thinking patterns that keep it going; sleep and routine; and practical tools for everyday life. About four to five hours of material. Some people do it over an intensive weekend. Others take thirty minutes a day and spread it across a month, practising as they go. In English, with Arabic subtitles. You can take it on its own or alongside therapy. It is education, not treatment, and it is not a substitute for care if you need care. If you are not sure which is right for you, ask before you buy.
